What this website collects, what we do with it, and how to make us stop. It is short because there is not much to say.
Who we are
JackmanHoff is a creative direction partnership in Cape Town, South Africa. For anything on this page, write to engage@jackmanhoff.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form on the Engage page: your name, your email address, your company if you give it, the services you tick and your message. If you email us directly, we receive that email.
What we do with it
The form sends it to our mailbox as an email. We use it to reply to you and, if work follows, to do that work. This website does not store it in a database.
What we do not do
We do not sell it, rent it or pass it to anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It starts only after you press OK on the cookie notice. From then on it sets cookies in your browser and sends Google details such as the pages you open, roughly where you are and the kind of device you use. We use it only for visitor figures, never for advertising. Press No thanks and it stays off. To change your answer, use the Cookies link at the bottom of every page. The private sign-in area for the four directors sets one more cookie, only to keep a director signed in.
What the web server records
Like every website, the server that hosts this one keeps a technical log of visits: the address of the device, the page asked for and the time. We do not use it to identify you.
Other services this site loads
Only Google Analytics, from Google’s servers, and only after you press OK. The typefaces and the pictures are kept on this website.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as it takes to deal with it and with any work that comes from it. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Write to engage@jackmanhoff.com.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa, at inforegulator.org.za.
